My name is Neil Medwed, and I am the President and CEO of Preferred Technology Solutions. I have been in the technology industry since 1983 and since the very beginning, my passion has been to be the best technology partner that a client could have. It is my belief that the foundation for this starts with genuinely caring for the success of the people who you partner with. If your client is not successful, you will never be. You then develop a trust between people and organizations. If you show that you care deeply and you build a trust, information flow improves, and strategic goals can be shared. In other words, what develops is not a vendor – customer relationship, but a true strategic partnership where we not only deeply understand what goals you are trying to achieve, but the ways that we can act on that knowledge to accelerate your digital transformation and growth. We become aligned in ways that breed success for all parties involved.
They say that the personality of a company comes from the top leadership, and I am thrilled to be able to call my teammates, my teammates. Our staff is trained on a regular basis on the important technologies of today and we hold each other to high standards. Our client partners tell us that we are very unique as we have great knowledge and experience, but where that counts most, from top to bottom, is that they feel we truly care for them. And we do. We know that we are nothing without you, and we try to prove that each and every day.
I am sure that you have heard the statement “it takes a village” and in our industry, that is so very true. I am very proud of what we have accomplished as a company but even more proud of the people that I get to call teammates each and every day. We have many highly skilled Engineers and Consultants on staff and it shows with the high levels of manufacturer partnerships that we have. We have successfully served our clients for over 25 years and we have made a positive difference in the lives of the people we serve. We have deep expertise in our areas of practice, and if we do not have what is needed internally, we have trusted partnerships through Ingram Micro’s Trust X Alliance where we can bring that talent to the table. It truly does take a village, and we want to be a strategic part of your village.
Last but not least, the older I get, the more that the dash between life and death matters. What this means is what have you done, and what have I done, during the days we live, to make a difference in the world that we live in. I have always tried my best to give back where I can. From mentoring younger people, to participating in charitable events, to supporting the men and women of service, I just want to do my best so whenever the day is that I leave this earth, I impacted those who knew me.
