Reporting
All Preferred Technology Solutions Reliability Service clients receive monthly or quarterly reports for key aspects of the network system. The reports have value for internal analysis along with use for external compliance purposes, e.g., audits requesting asset documentation, documentation to show you have the capacity to support new users and services.
The PTS NetManage solution offers many reports that are beneficial in documenting network alerts, remediation actions, assets, and much more. The reports included in the packages defined are:
- Current Alerts Report. This report is a summary of all alerts or faults that are currently active.
- Resolved Alerts Report. This report is a summary report of all alerts or faults that have been resolved since the last review meeting.
- Managed Asset Report. This report tracks managed assets by IP address, node name, and software image for capacity planning, maintenance and accounting purposes.
- Network Summary Report. This report provides a high-level aggregate view of your network. The report shows critical statistics and trend graphs to help evaluate the health of your network, including:
- Availability
- Utilization
- Errors and discards. This report shows you the trends across multiple statistics over time. This information is valuable in terms of capacity planning of your critical network equipment.
- Server Summary Report. Availability is defined as the percentage of polls in which an Interface was unreachable during a specified period of time. To present accurate network availability information, we:
- Gathers a list of Devices and Interfaces on your network
- Report on the availability of each Device and Interface
- Vulnerability Summary and Detail Reports. This report provides the total number of security vulnerabilities found. Each of the reports displays a graphical representation of the critical, major, and minor security vulnerabilities found.
- Patch Summary and Detail Reports. These reports show software inventory changes on your managed Windows devices and provides visibility of any vulnerability alerts.
