Locate an
Address with Contact Maps

Microsoft
Office Outlook can do more than just store your contact
information. Outlook Contacts has a map feature that can
help locate a contact's address for you.
If you have
entered a complete address for a person or business in your
contact list, it takes only a few clicks to bring up a map
for that location. And if you want written directions, that
is only another click away.
View a map
for an address
in Contacts:
In an open Contact, in the Addresses section, click
the arrow, and then click the type of address that you want
to find on a map — Business, Home, or Other.
Tip
The Addresses section is in the lower-left portion of
the contact form (contact form: A view of an individual
contact that contains all the information stored in the
contact.). The arrow is next to a button that displays one
of the address types.
On the
Contact tab, in the Communicate group, click
Map.
Along with
viewing a map that shows the location of the contact's
address, you have the options to zoom in or out, print the
map, and get written directions.

Reasons 'Virtualization' Saves Money
by
Heather Clancy
reprinted with permission from the Microsoft Small Business
Center
Most articles
about virtualization discuss the technology in the context
of "big" business. They are glowing about the potential for
"data center consolidation" or "reduced system maintenance
expenses." Or they rave about the prospects for a better
disaster recovery plan, better security and extra
flexibility for employees.
What about small
business? The good news is if you are a small business
owner, there are plenty of short- and long-term benefits
from virtualization-and you don't need a big budget. (That
makes virtualization attractive in a brutal economic
climate.)

Ultimate Tips for Web
Searching in Less Time
reprinted with
permission from the HP Small Business Center

Most
of us use search engines every day, but few know how to make
the most of those searches. Given the enormous amount of
information on the Internet, almost any search you do will
yield thousands, or even millions of results. But if they
aren’t the right results, they don’t do you any good. And
who has time to spend trawling through loads of “sort of
useful” information?
Fortunately, there
are a few tricks to help you better focus your searches so
you get the information you need in less time. Here are five
search engine best practices to try next time you need to
search.
1. Use quotes
to find a specific phrase
In order to find an entire phrase in a search, enter
quotation marks (“ ”) around the terms.
